Noriko Nakagoshi is sure to capture the hearts of many television viewers when she comes onto Japanese television screens as the heroine in the NHK morning and midday drama "Kokoro" (Heart).
"Kokoro" is a story full of ups and downs, about a girl brought up in a family running a restaurant in downtown Tokyo, who goes on to become an international airline stewardess and marries a divorced man with children.
Nakagoshi, 23, became a magazine model five years ago and has had previous experience in dramas and in reporting. However, she is humble about her career, still calling herself an "unhatched actress." The NHK drama, which will be screening its 68th story, is a platform that has helped many actresses become independent, and is sure to give Nakagoshi a boost on her way to success.
