Sexy Socialite Paris Hilton was voted by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), the year's worst-dressed celebrity. Hilton "earned" this title because she's wearing natural fur and keeps eating at Carl's Jr, a chain of fast food restaurants located mostly on the West Coast of the United States, boycotted by PETA. The second place went to Kimberly Stewart, PETA writing that "she and best bud Paris are so clueless about animals". Stewart is followed by Lisa Gastineau, Victoria Gotti and Tara Reid.
Nevertheless, three big celebrities, which topped the last year's list, are notably absent from the top: Martha Stewart, Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham and fur-wary Alicia Keys.
Martha, who is currently hosting a video exposé on FurIsDead.com, declared: "I used to wear real fur, but, like many others, I had a change of heart when I learned what actually happens to the animals."
Keys also stated during an interview for USA Today this year: "The worst was this fur collar, and PETA should have gotten me with red paint," she said. "It looked like I was being eaten by a big bear."
