Fiona Xie was born on 24 January 1982 and was talent scouted at a tender age of 15. Since then, she has modelled for numerous print and television commercials in Singapore and Hong Kong before becoming a full-time artiste in 2001.
This young lass with the girl-next-door appeal made her acting debut when she was cast as a sweet devoted nurse in the local hit drama series, Growing Up. Her convincing performance immediately landed her leading roles in A War Diary, an English drama set in the 40s and My Genie, a Mandarin sitcom.
Fiona also has a knack for hosting when she was tasked to compere for the ever-popular weekly infotainment programme City Beat. This multi-talented artiste made her transition to the silver screen in One Leg Kicking, directed by acclaimed director, Eric Khoo of Singapore. All her hard work within the year 2001 was recognised when she bagged two awards (Best Newcomer and Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes) at Star Awards 2001.
In 2005, Fiona Xie was voted FHM Singapore's Sexiest Woman of the Year.
