Janice M. Vidal was born on 13 April 1982. This cutie is a female singer in Hong Kong. She is of mixed parentage with a Filipino father and a mixed Chinese and Korean mother.
As a Hong Kong singer, most of her fans refer to her simply as Janice. Janice is emerging as one of the new singers in Hong Kong and Asia. Her music style is a mixture of pop, Jazz and R&B. She performs her songs in English, Cantonese and Mandarin and will be performing songs in Korean in the near future.
Her debut album "Day & Night" was released on 13 April 2005 and on 25 November of the same year, Janice released her second album "My Love"... a rarity for a newcomer in Hong Hong's music industry.
She won all the new singer award (female) in 2005 awarded by Hong Kong media, including, Commercial Radio Hong Kong (CRHK) 2005 Best Female Newbies - Gold, RTHK 2005 Best Female Newbies - Gold, TVB 2005 Best Female Newbies - Gold and Metro Radio I-Tech Metro Best Newbies 2005.
Recently, Madame Tussauds Hong Kong organised "Madame Tussauds - Your Celebrity Choice for this Summer" competition with an aim to select new wax portrayal to be display in Madame Tussauds Hong Kong. Janice won the competition in May and her wax portrayal start display in Glamour section from July 2007.
