Sarah Burton made a dazzling debut for Alexander McQueen last night, injecting a slice of lightness to the typically dark label. Karl Lagerfeld gave us a spectacle of a show for Chanel, transforming the Grand Palais into an epic French garden complete with three fountains and a black and white maze. The clothes were equally as impressive, showcasing Lagerfeld's extraordinary workmanship to a point of near couture.
Last up on the Paris schedule is Elie Saab and Louis Vuitton, followed by Hermès. Miu Miu will round up the final of a month-long carousel of shows.
