Preeti, originally from Mangalore, started her career as a model and soon rose to become an actress. Preeti first appeared in a Rajshri Music video 'Chui Mui' opposite Abbas - The video showed her as the innocent, girl-next-door.She made her debut in Malayalam in Mazhavillu. The film created waves and won her many offers.
