Tyson Beckford is a handsome American model and actor, best known as a Ralph Lauren model.` Tyson Beckford has numerous tattoo designs covering his body, including a large cross on his back with the words "Lord of Lord's" in the center.

The tattoos on his left arm include, the name "Tyson" in old English lettering, the classic "Laugh Now, Smile Later" masks with two banners containing the words, a dragon on his forearm, plus a spider web on his elbow among several other tattoo designs within the sleeve. The tattoos on his right arm include, an array of clouds which covers most of his bicep and shoulder area, plus a large Chinese dragon and a spider web on his elbow. Tyson has two tattoo designs on his neck, the name of his son "Jordan" on the left side and some Kanji characters on the right side. He also has some extensive tribal artwork on his left leg.

‘Fashion Blackout’ a model subject for BET

These days, the fashion industry “It” girls are blonde, white and usually from Eastern Europe. Black models make token appearances on the runway, and BET News takes on the worthy subject Thursday night with the half-hour documentary special “Fashion Blackout.”

Designer Tracy Reese, top male model Tyson Beckford and Vogue’s Andre Leon Talley (sporting an Obama pin) are among the commentators, but the topic needs more than 30 minutes of airtime. Still, such folks as Constance White, formerly of The New York Times [NYT] and now at eBay, correctly call out designers like Marc Jacobs and Miuccia Prada for creating an all-white landscape on which to showcase their creations.
