Lindsay Lohan lets her style queen crown slip

She's long been a cover girl of choice for glossy fashion magazines, but Lindsay Lohan appears to have momentarily lost her sense of style.

The Hollywood starlet was spotted wearing an unflattering grey dress during an outing in Beverly Hills yesterday that hugged just a little too tightly around her curves and was frayed around the hem.

She later slipped into a black tuxedo jacket and road-sign printed mini-skirt - but the curious combination most certainly failed to stop traffic.

Perhaps her attention is currently focused elsewhere - the troubled star is in the midst of attempting to salvage her flailing career after a series of rehab stints and run-ins with the law.

She told People magazine yesterday: "My life was distracted by certain things and that got in the way of work."

"But now I'm back on track and figuring out what's next."

However, it appears she'll still make time for a spot of partying - she is reportedly being lined up to replace Britney Spears as host for next week's Scandinavian Style Mansion gala in LA.

Britney was initially asked to host the bash, the party's organizer Claus Hjelmbak announced she would no longer be fronting the occasion following her hospitalisation in early January.

Meanwhile, her mother and manager Dina Lohan will soon hit the small screen in the US with her own reality show.

The program, called Living Lohan, will following the Dina as she attempts to guide her 14-year-old daughter Ali into a show business career.

The premiere date has yet to be set and the show's name is still a "working title" but E! said the program will "follow Dina as she works double duty as mom and manager to help Ali try to follow in her big sister's famous footsteps."
