Tina Yuzuki was born in Tokyo, Japan on October 29, 1986. Like fellow AV idols Maria Ozawa and Anna Ohura, Yuzuki is of mixed-race parentage. Her father is Japanese and her mother is Portuguese and she learned to speak Portuguese from her mother. She was raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil that's why she chose Rio as her AV name.
After starring in AVs in various genres during her first year in the industry, in December 2006 she was voted, "the most talked about actress" and the Japanese AV industry named her Best New Actress for 2006. Her hobbies include karaoke.
