Singer Gwen Stefani takes her cute kids to the park

Gwen Stefani is relishing her role as a mother, and has taken a lengthy period off her work duties to stay at home with new baby son Zuma, five months.

And she is clearly enjoying the downtime as she spent a relaxed afternoon playing with her sons - including two-year-old Kingston, at Coldwater Canyon Park in Beverly Hills.

But it seems playtime will soon come to an end as the 39-year-old singer has confirmed that she will be reforming former band No Doubt for a tour this summer - their first since 2004.

Gwen was joined by Tobey Maguire’s wife Jennifer Meyer and looked relaxed in her own label Harajuku Lovers jacket (her own label), grey t-shirt, jeans and UGG boots.

Recently she hinted that there might be another No Doubt record in the pipeline too.

She said: 'The whole reason for going on this tour was to have fun, try on all our favourite songs again and to get inspired to make new music'.

The band - Stefani, Tony Kanal, Adrian Young and Tom Dumont - is playing shows in Canada and the US before heading to Europe later in the year.

Drummer Young said: 'Now that five years have passed, the excitement level for us is extremely high. I feel like a kid again when rehearsing these songs.'

And Gwen recently insisted motherhood wasn't going to stop her from being a pop star.

'I don't think we should wait. Pack up the babies and get a bunch of nannies. So fun! Would be so inspiring to get out there and play all those songs again.'
