Speaking of the nightclub attack at London Fashion Week last month, Danielle said: 'At least I am still here today and I am thankful that I've got such supportive friends and boyfriend.

'I just want to put all of that behind me now and concentrate on my career. I am learning more and more about fashion - it's becoming an obsession.'

Danielle shot to fame when she was stripped of her Miss Great Britain title in 2006 after it was revealed she was having a relationship with one of the judges, footballer Teddy Sheringham at the time of the final.

But her efforts weren't particularly well received by the crowd - after discovering it was in fact the former Big Brother contestant they began chanting "Who Are You? Who Are You?".

The 24-year-old wisely took it as her cue to make a sharp exit.

The 24-year-old was evicted from Funky Buddha with her new boyfriend after getting involved in a catfight with a rival girl over her ex-lover, Portsmouth footballer Jermain Defoe - who was also at the club.

Dani's new beau, businessman William Foster, made the chivalrous but fatal mistake of getting involved in a row between two angry women and was dragged out of the venue by security and not allowed back in.

Dani and a female friend were asked to leave shortly after.

A source said: "The night started well for Dani and William, who were kissing and having a great time in their own VIP area.

"As the night went on, she was getting more and more tipsy. She looked like she was in an aggressive mood, and started arguing with her friend and boyfriend."

But it appears she wasn't quite telling the truth, because she then started arguing with a girl in the club - who she said had been sleeping with Jermain when he and Dani were still together.

The source added: "Dani confronted this girl, who had been minding her own business, and threw her drink over her.

"Things kicked off, and only got messier when William stepped in to try and calm the situation.

Outside, William confirmed that Jermain was the cause of the problem.

Earlier in the night Jermain, 25, was spotted standing just outside Dani's VIP area, but the source said: "He looked too nervous to go in."

Goody later claimed she was the victim of an unprovoked attack.
